Mudra is the energetic alignment of the bodymind through specific gestures of the hands

and placement of the body to activate the flow of pranic energy.

This in turn shifts our consciousness to the continual stream

of intelligence and energy that is always available to us,

filling our mind and heart with joy and peace.

​

Mantra is the practice of attunement to the frequencies of pure sound

that activate and harmonise all of creation.

From the ultimate universal mantra of ‘Om’

to the Bija mantras of the Chakras,

to the invocation of the Divine Name

we will explore many of the key mantric phrases in the yoga tradition.

​

Meditation is the key to transforming our consciousness

and establishing our awareness in the essential truth of Being.

While words are only an indicator to the state beyond word and form,

the ancient teachings are full of inspirational guidance that support our practice.

We will be working from the Radiance Sutras, a relatively recent translation

of the ancient Vigyana Bhairava Tantra,

which is sublimely poetic and powerfully focuses our awareness.

will transform our routine Yoga Practice

into a blissful experience of

‘sat chit ananda’

THE PROGRAM

Each Morning of our retreat we start the day

with a Flowing Asana Practice incorporating these 3 elements

of Mudra, Mantra and Meditation.

Our afternoon practices  focus on the essentials

of each specific practice,

deepening our connection to and understanding of those elements.
